Well done to the dedicated 11 players who turned out against league leaders Sharks. You were outstanding and kept the score to 12 - 12 in the first half. Due to injuries to Richard Battye, Brookie and Greg carrying injuries the Sharks came out overall winners in a hard battling game. I am proud of every single one of you. You do not deserve the treatment from your other team mates who are too idle to train and turn up. They are the so called mates who let you and the club down. What is the point of all the committee and others applying for planning permission for floodlights around the pitch and an all weather training pitch on the 2 tennis courts when some of you cannot be bothered to turn up? The team cannot progress any further with set moves and a game plan as we need a full squad in training so that everyone everyone knows what is happening Teams work as a unit and not individuals. Stainland need to go forward but without 100% dedication this will not happen. Training at Shaw Park on Wednesdays 6pm prompt and Saturday at the club 10 am prompt. Do not turn up half an hour late as you will miss out on what is happening. Dedication, fitness, skills and discipline are lacking and need working on so get to training and games and we will start winning and moving in the right direction.
